How to get there

South Asians have a 2-fold risk of suffering from a Coronary event than Europeans

A key aspect of the study is to understand why this is the case, with mass data we can find trends that could lead to a breakthrough in treatments.

The South Asia Biobank project is granted by the Wellcome Trust and is overseen by Imperial College, Medical Research Council and National Institute of Health Research.
